Museum of the History of Valencia

Valencia, Spain

The museum design is based on an open-space layout that creates small scenarios for each period related to the history of the city of Valencia.

By means of large format background scenes and interactive audiovisuals that illustrate each period, the setups allow the artefacts in display to be part of a historical context. One of the main features is the Time Machine, an interactive module that reconstructs the urban layout of Valencia from the Roman period until the 21st century, where visitors can experience the evolution of the city.

 Design highlights:

  1. Artefact treatment
  2. Scenography integration
  3. Audiovisual and interactive integration
  4. Time Machine with Pepper’s Ghost interactive model of the city
