Sakıp Sabancı Museum houses an exquisite Collection of Calligraphy and the Arts of the Book. Composed of Korans, prayer books and other objects, the exhibition was refurbished in 2012 with a new design.
The design aims to unify the collection by incorporating new showcases and new technologies applied to the museums.
The artefact display is complemented by an audiovisual carefully produced on the art of book making and a large interactive on calligraphy. The museum offers the visitors the use of tablets in order to re-live historical scenes of Ottoman miniatures through virtual reality along the exhibition.
